My journalism career starts with a ThreeSixty camp in high school. A decade later, I landed my first reporting position with a community radio initiative, covering police trials and the Twin Cities following the murder of George Floyd. 

I freelanced for a bit, then joined the first SPEAK MPLS summer media camp as a mentor. That experience led me to MPR News, where I now help lead the effort to serve younger audiences.
